If the game won’t install, try manually updating your Meta Quest software using the instructions from Meta here.
If there is no update available, try to stop installing (or uninstall) the game, and then reboot your Quest headset.
Try starting the download again.
If the issue persists, you may need to contact Meta support. We’re sorry for the frustration, but because this issue happens entirely in the Meta software (and before Floor Plan 2 runs), it’s not something we have much control over. You can reach Meta support here:
There is a bug in the Meta Quest system software that can cause save data to be lost for any game if you are playing while the battery dies. We updated the Quest version of Floor Plan 2 on July 8th, 2023 to greatly reduce the chance of this happening (by making it so the game stops saving data when the battery is under 2%), but we suggest making sure you quit playing or plug in a charging cable before the battery reaches 0%.
If this happens to you, you can try completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game to see if that triggers the Meta Quest cloud save system and pulls down a backup of your save file. This does not always work and unfortunately there may not be a way to recover the lost data.
If you are technically savvy and understand how to sideload save files using a PC, reach out to us at [email protected] and let us know where you were in the game, what you had finished, etc, and we will do our best to provide you with a save file that is close to where you were.
